May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us-yes, establish the work of our hands. ~ Psalm 90:17
Last year we had a wonderful winter garden. This year, not so much.
We are preparing the soil for planting now.
We can't garden in the summer here. We garden, fall, winter and spring.
Summer gardening in Florida is a no-go.
Aren't winter yards sad sometimes? What does yours look like?
Is it covered with snow?
Grateful for a son who worked in the garden without being nagged. What a sweet boy. |
You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours. ~ Psalm 128:2
Blessings to you.
Be a blessing to others.

Where I am we can only garden in summer... not that we really do except for grow a few necessities (potatoes, beetroots, peas...). Right now everything is covered in half a meter of snow! :D
Impressive! I'd love to garden, but don't have the time or a good space for it. It's a lot of work!
Give that son a sweet surprise for doing the hard work. :)

That sounds pretty cool...winter garden. We actually had 65 degree weather yesterday but that's totally abnormal for us. We live in a lake effect snow zone and normally are covered in snow. But it's getting colder now and snow is in the forecast soon. We rest in January and plant in late spring and harvest through October. Hope your garden comes together for you!
My winter garden is brown and sleeping, waiting for spring. The snow has melted (a January thaw) but we are sure to get tons more snow.
