New Hampshire Stone Wall

My favorite thing about New Hampshire was all the rock walls or stone fences every where you looked.  What are they, anyway?  I loved them and want one of my own now.

It looks like this wall is long forgotten about. Even the rusting equipment suggest the area is not visited too often.

Wonderful example of stone walls--which is what I suspect they are called in New England. In Kentucky we call them dry stone fences because no mortar is used in building them.
