My favorite thing about New Hampshire was all the rock walls or stone fences every where you looked. What are they, anyway? I loved them and want one of my own now.
Love those stone fences in New Hampshire! I was thee last fall and I think I posted pictures of some then. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes those stone fence posts will be there for hundreds of years. :0)
when we were traveling to Maine we stopped off in New Hampshire. I think it was my favorite at that moment. it left a lasting impression on my mind & memory. hope to see those states again soon. fingers crossed. (:
Wonderful example of stone walls--which is what I suspect they are called in New England. In Kentucky we call them dry stone fences because no mortar is used in building them.
Stone walls... that's what I've always called them, anyway. Thank you for the link, too! I love history, so that was very interesting =) Can you imagine living waaay back then? The history is incredible!

Many years ago we vacationed in New Hampshire and Maine and I too loved those walls.
This is a lovely shot!
The colors add accent to the rocks! Nice job!

It looks like this wall is long forgotten about. Even the rusting equipment suggest the area is not visited too often.

I love stone walls but you don't see many in the south. This is a lovely photo.
