Thrifty Vintage Christmas

I've been working hard on my antique booth.  Sales at the booth and on Etsy are consistent.
I won't get rich, but I'm having fun and the cash is steady.  My back is tired, but I'm happy!  :)

HI MOM!

We're taking our 17 year old son on a Christmas cruise.  He is a beautiful human being.  We decided to pack the year full of memories before he leaves us next year for college.  :(

Thought I would share some fabulously yummy Vintage Christmas I've found on my thrifty hunts recently.  Vintage Christmas is pretty much my favorite thing EVER.  If they don't move in the antique booth at Annetta's Attic in Dade City, FL next week while I'm gone, I'll put them on Etsy.

Aren't they wonderful????

She was the Eliza Doolittle of Christmas figurines.  She was filthy.
Gave her a bath and now we're working on her grammar.
I just LOVE her.  So, so sweet.

This little fella was teeny tiny.  He became a gift.  He's gone.  I miss him.

This little Santa necklace was so unique.  I haven't seen something like him before.
It may not have been "vintage" but it looked like those old santa head mugs.  It also became a gift.

Oh my goodness, this group is so stinking cute.  It's a plaster statue item with a music box in the back.
The music box actually works; often they are broken by now.  Adorable and it's in excellent condition  Love it.

I've been collecting Santa Head mugs for almost 20 years.  I was thrifting with friends.  I saw these mugs across a crowded parking lot.
Jumped out of the car and grabbed them.  I was SO HAPPY!!!  I kept 3 and I'm selling the rest.

We can never own enough vintage ornaments.  If you want my advice, buy them when you find them (if they are not too much $$$).
They are getting harder and harder to find.  Get them now.  :)

Most excellent Mr. and Mrs. Claus Salt and Pepper in PERFECT condition.
It's rare to find made in Japan ceramics without paint chippings.
Oh so cute.  I love this set.

Vintage Christmas Planter, I can't remember who makes it.  It is USA made though.  It's olive green.  Kinda funky.
Olive green looks best with pinks and purples.  I'm showing it with hot pink ornaments.

I've been buying up vintage wooden ornaments for awhile, if they are in good condition.  These were just too fun.
OOOps, looks like Mr. Golfer with the bad temper went nuts on  his friends.  Bad, bad man!!!

Well, back to packing for me (we'll be gone for a week).
Hope you enjoyed the yummy Vintage Christmas Eye Candy!!!  :)

BE AT PEACE.
Choose Joy.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.

Love the finds! The first figurine of the girl reminds me of some my mom has and my sister and I own now. So fun. Thanks for the show and tell and enjoy your cruise!
Blessings... :)

I've been looking all over for a pair of vintage salt & pepper shakers for Christmas. You are too right - all the made in Japan ones have chipped painted! Those ones are fabulous.

Fun, fantastic vintage Christmas finds - love them all. Vintage Christmas is one of my fav things too, but this year ... the thrifts were lacking around here.

Have a lot of fun on the cruise!

Yes and yes! Loving your vintage Christmas goodies and your tabby! Your kitty commentary made me giggle. My tuxedo kitty has to be the spawn of Garfield. She hates anything that isn't food or sleep. :)

Oh my word! I read one post and am hooked! Following now--because I totally get the musical misunderstood feeling, AND you mentioned Eliza Doolittle in the first post I read! I love your little Christmas finds.

I think we have an equal passion for vintage x-mas! Boy is it addicting or what? LOL
