I remember picking this up in the library, thinking it looked interesting. It made it to my top favorite books list. It's a Kindle Deal of the Day today for $1.99. Run and get it. It's wonderful. Inspiring. It stays with you. I like books that "don't leave me" and stay for awhile...or forever.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents, this is a fabulous book! I loved it! I also loved the movie with Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson.
This is kind of embarrassing but I haven't seen the movie. I've only read the book. I will have to see if I can find it.
