Florida Orange Harvest

Almost exactly 2 months ago, I shared some photos of my Florida neighborhood.

Well guess what?
It's harvest!
These oranges will become your juice.

I save my orange peel and use it in my kitchen

(Wish my photos were better, but it was 12 noon and I was in a hurry.  Hope you find it interesting).

Oh my....it smelled wonderful walking past the trailer.

Is it just me, or is an "Orange" colored porta-potty in the groves, funny?

There are rows and rows of orange trees in the back.

He was a happy, smiling, cheerful man.  He gave me an orange.

Gracias!

  1. I just bought a large box of Navel oranges, and two boxes of mandarins. I think I like oranges a little bit!

  4. I love the shots of the orange trees. I would love to visit an orange grove someday! Too bad we can't grow them here in MO!

“Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say good-bye. I hate good-byes. I know what I need. I need more hellos.”

I hope you'll say hello.
